Heli expo logoHAI Heli-Expo is the world’s largest helicopter trade show; it is the place where the global helicopter community comes to meet. Tucana Engineering representatives are participating in HAI Heli-Expo that is taking place from the 3rd till 5th March 2015 in Orlando, USA.

Tucana Engineering has extended experience in rotary-wing design and disposes a pool of highly skilled rotory-wing engineers. HAI Heli-Expo is an occasion for Tucana to present its skills in the helicopter sector, as well as to exchange with current and potential partners.

In order to boost the Tucana’s presence in the space sector, Galya Brovko, Tucana Engineering SAS’s CEO, participated in Paris Space Week Business convention on the 4th of February, 2015.

The Paris Space Week - B2B meetings, exhibition and conferences - brings together global decision-makers involved in the design, building and testing of spacecraft, satellite, launch vehicles and space-related technologies. It is a meeting place for industry leaders, suppliers and buyers to meet manufaturers and the supply chain for civil and commercial space.

In December 2014 Tucana Engineering SAS became a member of the Aerospace Valley Cluster.

From now on Tucana’s employees will participate in the work of the Aerostructures, Materials and Methods Group which treats a wide area of ‘structures’ in aeronautics and space sectors. Aerospace Valley’s membership allows to take part in the national and international R&D projects, to develop the partnership with other members, such as Airbus, Thales Alenia Space, Daher Socata, Liebherr Aerospace, Dassault etc, and to bring our know-how and skills in favor of the association. 

Aerospace Valley is a non-profit organization created in 2005 to grow the competitiveness of the French South-Western regions in Aeronautics, Space, and Embedded Systems on the international level. Aerospace Valley was certified a “Worldwide Cluster” from its inception.

On the 2-4th December 2014 Tucana Engineering participated in Aeromart Toulouse Business Forum. This business event brought over 1200 companies from over 40 countries to Toulouse. The international aerospace community gathered there together for business and networking.

Tucana Engineering welcomed its customers at the stand and discussed further business opportunities with its partners. Visitors and potential customers got detailed information about the Tucana's services. Many contacts were made and the intensive consultations were conducted during the Business Forum.

Aerospace days europe

On the 15th and 16th October 2014 Tucana Engineering took part in AeroSpace Days in Paris, France. This leading International Business to Business Event was focused on Industrial and R&D Partnerships.

Tucana Engineering presented its expertise in the Structural Design, Manufacturing Engineering and Aircraft Maintenance to different key players of the aeronautical industry. Meetings with foreign MROs, aircraft subcontractors, engine manufacturer and space companies were held.

Tucana Engineering is responding to the global demand for engineering services in aerospace, automotive, and energy by opening the office in Kiev, Ukraine. The official ribbon-cutting ceremony took place in the new Company’s offices on August 27, 2014.

Tucana Engineering’s goal is to strengthen relationships with the Ukrainian business and scientific communities. Mitch Dubner, President of the company, stated that “Tucana is expanding to create quality global engineering solutions using highly trained and professional Ukrainian engineers“. Ukraine has a highly educated engineering community.

The new office is expected to increase the competitiveness of Tucana Engineering on European, North and South American markets.

49th Farnborough International Airshow took place from the 14 – 20 July 2014. Tucana Engineering participated in this prestigious international event for the first time and many visitors came to discover the stand. The Airshow was intense in terms of meetings with Original Equipment Manufacturers (airplaneOEMs), MRO and aeronautic suppliers.

During the Farnborough airshow Tucana Engineering presented the skills and the expertise in the aircraft components engineering, pneumatic and hydraulic systems design. New contracts had been initiated with European and US partners in structures design and modifications of aircraft interiors.

Tucana Engineering’s Representative Office in Kiev, Ukraine is up and running. The team of capable engineers with experience in broad aerospace and automotive projects will add strong support to the toughest customer needs through advanced skills, processes, and collaboration. Fifth time in a row Tucana Engineering outstandingly completed AS/EN/JISQ 9100:2009 re-certification. Tucana’s management system was audited by Det Norske Veritas (DNV) in accordance with the requirements of EN9104-001:2013. The initial certification date was Aug. 05, 2010 by DNV (Cert# 82671-2010-AQ-MCW-SINCERT).
